From Rasulpur Fr. Crusbhakt, IMS had been extending his social work and apostolic activities since 1965 to Sohaon which is located about 10 km from Rasulpur mission. Later a piece of land was purchased and Fr. Marianand IMS built the priest house. In 1981 it was made an independent station. On September 28, 1990 the church building was started and the church was blessed in 1992. Frs. Satish, Ranjan, Susheel, Tejkumar, Devdas, Premraj, William, Rakesh, Udai Dev and Arvind were priest incharges in the station. Helpers of Mary sisters had joined the ministry in Sohaon Parish. Due to special circumstance the sisters bounded up their mission in 2006 and Sisters of Daughters of Charity joined the mission in 2007 with social, health and catechetical ministry. |
