Fr. Angelo, OFM. Cap., started to work here. He was followed by various priests specially of the Indian Missionary Society. The Church was blessed on February 24, 1969. For the past many years, Rasulpur has been a centre for inculturation, especially in liturgy. The Indian Missionary Society handed over the parish to the diocese in the year 2006. Fr. Paul Amin was appointed here to look after the station. The pastoral care of the people is effective by the catechetical team of the station. Priests, sisters and catechists do the regular village visits. Franciscan Servants of Mary (FSM) opened a house in 1971. The FSM sisters are running a hospital successfully. There is a boarding house for boys (class I-V) another for girls (class I-VIII) |
