In 1978 Fr. Lawrence took up the station. Restarted the school. In the same year UFS sisters too came to the station to teach in the school and work in the dispensary. Fr. Lawrence extended the village visits and Mass in the villages. Evangelization and catechetical work started to progress. In 1981 the church was. In 1982 school building and hostel for girls were completed. In 1983 Fr. Lawrence was transferred and the station was entrusted to the Norbertine Fathers. Though it has been a remote station, it has developed into a fertile place for pastoral life. Once upon a time it was impossible to reach the station during the rainy season. Today the road facility has improved. The mission constantly strives to bring progress. |
