Hardia station is the extension of Jamwaon. The villages of Karsi and surrounding were far and were very inconvenient for people to go for any church services at Jamwaon. Therefore it was thought of opening a station in Hardia and Fr. Jayrathan was appointed the first parish priest of the station. Sisters of the daughters of Vincent de Paul joined the ministry with dispensary and other social work. Father Valerian D'Souza bought the present land and a Church and priest house was constructed in year 2011. |
