Dear Fathers Peace and Grace of Jesus!
In her ‘YES’ to God, Mary humbly admitted, “I am the servant of the Lord” (Lk 1:38). It implies a love-relationship in which the human person is called and formed in the love of God, patterned on the mission of Jesus in order to respond with affection and total dedication. Influenced by the Spirit, she moved out of her own secured threshold into an unknown future. As we advance on our Advent Journey, we are invited to enter our own inner space and then be attentive to God’s presence, desiring to shape us into the image of Jesus. “God is always needing to be born” in us (Meister Eekhart). Patience, attentive listening, and receptiveness, as that of Mary, will make us ready for the BIRTH. “Rejoice…the Lord is with You” (Lk 1:38). In fraternal union and prayerful wishes,
