History Nav Sadhana, established in the year 1982, is the Regional Pastoral Centre for Agra Ecclesiastical Region (Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan). It offers seminars, courses, retreats and trainings for Priests, religious and laity for spiritual renewal, theological up-dating and pastoral effectiveness. It has a full fledged communication department with an Audio Recording Studio and a Video Unit, objective of which being media education, audio-visuals in liturgical celebrations. Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra, the college of dance and music affiliated to Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Chattisgarh, is an integral part of Nav Sadhana. It conducts B.A. (Hons) and M.A. courses in Bharatnatyam and Hindustani Music. The college is actively involved in producing and promoting Biblical Dance and Musical presentations for liturgical and para-liturgical use. The college conducts one-month summer course in dance and music for young students. |
